In the latest Weekly Statistical Report for new residential building permits accepted, there were nineteen permit acceptances for Staten Island. This report was released by the New York City Department of Buildings for the week beginning October 6th and ending October 12th.
These nineteen new permits pushed October’s total permit acceptances up to twenty-four, which is not far behind the thirty-one acceptances seen last October. As we can see through these past few weeks, the New York City Department of Buildings has been accepting numerous housing permits for Staten Island, advancing the total for the year so far up to three hundred and thirty-two.
With these nineteen new residential permits accepted, eighteen homes are set to be built in the Mid-Island section of Staten Island, while the remaining home will be constructed on the South Shore. Here is a look at the homes to be built:
- Twelve one-family attached homes in Bulls Head
- Five two-family semi-attached homes in Bulls Head
- One one-family detached home in Travis
- One two-family detached home in Annadale
