Tech Corner: Black + Decker Smart Tech Is Tackling More Than Just Your Home!

Smart Gadgets for our homes have been very helpful. It is no exception when smart gadgets even move their way to the toolbox. Black + Decker have a series of smart tech items for your home, but we are highly impressed by their smart tech batteries for your tools!
This battery will work with any of your existing Black + Decker power tools. All you have to do is connect the battery to the smartphone app through Bluetooth. With the app, you will be able to locate, lock, and monitor your tools. The app also has a Do-It-Yourself section, to inspire you and help you discover projects you can tackle around your home.
Using the app, you will be able to remotely lock and unlock for convenience and safety. If you misplace a battery [or a tool that is currently charging the battery, because we have all been there,] you can locate the missing items through the app. Finally, also on the app, you can check the amount of energy your battery has and its temperature. Do not worry if you forget to check either; the app will alert you when you have a low battery or overheating battery.
Besides being able to charge your Black + Decker power tools, the Smart Tech battery has a built-in USB charger, allowing you to use the battery portable and charge your phone and tablet on the go!
Black + Decker’s smart gadgets for the home continues with their Smart Tech Smart Vacuums. Just like the battery for the power tools, the vacuum’s app will let you know the battery status and lets you know when it is time to clean the vacuum’s filter. The other features the vacuums has is Auto Sense and Power Boost. The auto sense automatically adjust suctions based on the type of floor you are cleaning (hardwood to carpet), this way you get more power when you need it. Not only does this make the chore go faster, but it allows the battery to have a longer life span! The power boost is if you need additional assistance suctioning up a gritty corner. All you need to do is press the plus button on the vacuum for added power!
