Top Ten Thanksgiving Tabletop Decor

Hosting a wonderful gathering can come with just some pressure. It is time to set aside the stress and put Pinterest musings to the test! Thanksgiving is the best excuse and perfect time for tabletop styling! We have the recipe for your success that will impress your friends and family! With just a dash of decoration, sprinkle of perfect planning, and a splash of inspiration, you will be ready and set to throw the most enjoyable dinner with these Thanksgiving tabletop decor.

  1. Sliverware. Now is the perfect time to break out the classic cutlery and china sets! However, creating the perfect tabletop does not have to require expensive high-end dinnerware. Be simple, yet sophisticated with your dishes. Pair the plates with linen napkin displays, candlesticks, and a nice centerpiece.
  2. Dining Area. Your dining area does not have to be fancy, but should be warm and inviting. Decorate it to be festive and welcoming by adding garlands and painted pumpkins of various hues.
  3. Centerpieces. Adorn the table with seasonal colors! A lush floral centerpiece that incorporates traditional fall colors will compliment your glassware, giving it a lovely sophisticated touch. Rather not set up a floral piece? There are different centerpieces you can try: fruit centerpiece, candle centerpiece, or even a cornucopia. A DIY favorite is mini pumpkins in a cylinder vase. This is easy to put together and will give a simple, yet festive, touch.
  4. Tablecloth. If you want to opt out of the tablecloth and plastic bid, give a runner a try this year! Place the runner down the center of the table, and then assemble the centerpieces to make the view enjoyable from wherever you are sitting. This works especially well for long tables.
  5. Place Cards. This is another decorative addition that is straightforward and will help with organization. A simple white card with gold polka dots and cursive lettering will do the trick.
  6. Place Mats. Place mats keep with the polished feel we are aiming for. Sometimes the panic of dirt and spills scares us away from using them. This year, we absolutely adore the Chalkboard Place Mats. These can be purchased or you can make them yourself! It is a fun way to leave notes for your guest and you can even have everyone write what they are thankful for in between courses. Let us not forget the clean up for them is easy and you will not become upset when wine spills.
  7. Buffet Style. Consider a buffet table if you are planning on serving a copious amounts of food. This will keep the main table from becoming overcrowded. Give the buffet a rustic touch; break out the classic cutlery and serving plates. Finish the look with a big bouquet with seasonal blooms!
  8. Bar Cart. A well stocked bar cart is a must! If you have not yet jumped on board with this trend, we advise you to get one! It is a decorative, classy, and organized way to display the drinks for the evening. It will also give you more room on the table to add extra pies!
  9. Keep it modern. A casual and modern dinner etiquette display with plenty of seasonal flair includes white dishes, neutral linens, and glassware. Add extra earthy details by scattering sprigs of berries and fall leaf garlands around the table.
  10. Kiddy table. Do not forget about the kids on this holiday! Giving them a table of their own that is festive. Using plastic ware for them may be a better idea. Keep them occupied with Thanksgiving themed arts and crafts.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
